If the seller is a private individual or a shareholder in an SCI or registered partnership

• For all cases:
- the draft contract, preliminary contract or a transaction summary,
- title deed(s) (purchase, merger, etc.)
- justification of the existence and value of the furnishings (invoices, inventory prepared by an auctioneer)
- proof of costs incurred by the seller for this sale
(Home Information Pack, estate agent's commission, cost of deregistration of charges, eviction compensation, residual VAT, etc.)
- statement of actual purchase costs (notary's statement of account)
- invoices for works with proof of payment by the seller (bank statements in the seller's name)
- copy of company articles (if the seller is an SCI or registered partnership)

• If you are a resident of a Member State of the European Economic Area (except Liechtenstein)
- a recent certificate of residence justifying that you are domiciled for tax purposes in that State at the time of the sale (ask us for a template)
- a recent utility bill (electricity, gas, water, etc.) issued in your country of residence,

• If you are a private individual and you consider you meet the conditions for exemption under section 150 U II 2 of the French Tax Code
NB: this exemption does not apply to shareholders of SCI's and registered partnerships - a copy of your passport,
- two consecutive French tax advices issued by a tax centre (other than the tax centre for non residents),
- all utilities bills (electricity, gas, water, etc.) since 1st January of the year preceding the year of the sale
- copy of the taxe d'habitation bill for the period preceding the year of the sale

If the seller is a company or a corporate shareholder in an SCI or registered partnership

• For all cases:
- the draft contract, preliminary contract or a transaction summary,
- title deed(s) (purchase, inheritance account, gift, etc.)
- justification of the existence and value of the furnishings (invoices, inventory prepared by an auctioneer)
- proof of costs incurred by the seller for this sale (Home Information Pack, estate agent's commission, cost of deregistration of charges, eviction compensation, residual VAT, etc.)
- statement of actual purchase costs
- invoices for works with proof of payment by the seller (bank statements in the seller's name)
- copy of company articles

• If your company is established in a Member State of the European Union
